Twilight Double Feature at Opera House

Vampires and werewolves will take over the Newberry Opera House on Friday, August 27 as the Newberry Community Players present the movies Twilight and Twilight: New Moon. These films about a love triangle between a vampire, a werewolf (or actually a shape shifter), and the beautifully ungifted Bella are the first two in the saga based on Stephanie Meyers' books that have captured the imagination of the young and young at heart across the world. This "Back to School Double Feature" will be a fundraiser for the Newberry Community Players to jumpstart the new season. Twilight will begin at 6pm with New Moon (non-3D) starting at 8pm.
Newberry's favorite heartthrob
Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? With whom do you think Bella should end up? Attendees can purchase $1 votes for their Newberry's favorite heartthrob. All funds go to support NCP programming.
Tickets
Movie tickets are $10 for this fundraiser. The price includes both movies. Tickets can be purchased through the Newberry Opera House Box Office at 803-276-6264 or online at newberryoperahouse.com.
Newberry Community Players will be signing up students for the Young Players Club, which gives them behind-the-scenes access to NCP productions, special events, audition coaching, and discount ticket prices for plays. Make sure to ask about signing up while at the movies on August 27.
